Intermec labels, tags, and ribbons support a broad range of bar-code printing applications in mild to harsh environments. Intermec stocks a wide variety of label media to support different printing technologies and meet the broadest array of our customers' application needs. Both paper and synthetic labels are available, for use with both direct thermal and thermal transfer printers.

Intermec direct thermal paper label stock is available in an assortment of popular sizes for high-quality, cost-effective printing across multiple environments and applications.

Direct thermal media does not require a ribbon to print, making it ideal for applications in which confidentiality is critical. Direct thermal media is coated with a heat-sensitive layer which is imaged through direct contact with the print head. The result is a pattern of black dots forming text, bar codes, or graphics.

Intermec thermal transfer paper labels are an excellent choice for use in environmentally demanding applications, where labels must stand up to conditions such as heat and sunlight.

Thermal transfer printing technology uses thermally sensitive ink ribbons to produce bar codes that are both visible light and infrared scannable. Intermec Duratran ™ thermal transfer label products, available in both paper and synthetic facestocks, provide durable, high quality printing and unlimited flexibility.

When paired with compatible labels and tags, Intermec's thermal transfer ribbons produce sharp text and bar codes on a broad range of materials, both papers and films, with excellent durability.
