Bar Code Verification with Intermec Printer

ToolWorx is pleased to announce that we have successfully integrated the RJS SV100 Verifier with the Intermec PM4i Smart Printer. This system was just installed at a manufacturer in Chicago. Their particular application uses our PLC Printer software that takes digital signals from a PLC machine and prints out the appropriate part label and verifies it. If the bar code does not make the grade, we pull the label back into the printer, print “Void” over it, and try again.

If you have a need to do bar code verification using an Intermec printer, let us know. In addition, even though we only delivered the SV100 integration on the PM4i, the Fingerprint software we developed will support every FP printer that Intermec manufactures. The SV100 comes with a separate mounting stand that is printer independent.

RECENT PROJECTS 

• TWLot implementation at a food processor; enhancements include batch lot control with "rework", automatic scale interfaces with weigh counting, inventory tracking, and more
• TWM2M implementation at a manufacturer of environmental test chambers as part of a conversion of their bar coding system supporting their Made-To-Manage ERP system; enhancements include support of Serial as well as Parallel Jobs
• Lots of PLC Printers implemented at several automotive suppliers; enhancements include support for keyboard input and RJS verifier
