• Based upon the customer pull down, the user is prompted for only the data required for that customer to create the ASN which eliminates any guesswork or possible errors by the user
• Multiple customer shipments can be scanned and uploaded at one time; the ToolWorx database identifies which shipments goes to which customer and creates separate ASN's for each customer
• The ToolWorx database can track cumulative year-to-date figures for the ASN's, stores customer information (part numbers, duns number, ship to locations, SCAC codes, etc.), and greatly simplifies the creation of ASN's
• Error checking is built into the application to prevent scanning the wrong data or double scanning an item
• Can be linked to any PC-based EDI system (e.g. Inovis TrustedLink®, GXS Desktop EDI™) using industry standards
• Scanning is done just prior to the shipment going out, thereby improving accuracy, speed, and reducing data input errors in manual processes
• Scanning is performed by a non-technical end user, therefore freeing up the time of skilled personnel
