TOOLWORX RELEASES PRODUCE TRACEABILITY INITIATIVE (PTI) LABELING COMPLIANCE SYSTEM
BRIGHTON, Mich., April 27, 2010-- ToolWorx Information Products,
Inc. ("ToolWorx"), of Brighton, Michigan announces the release of the ToolWorx SmartPTI™
Suite to meet the Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI) compliance labeling guidelines.
The SmartPTI™ Suite is the only labeling system on the market that utilizes Intermec Smart
Printers to create a one-piece labeling system with no PC or terminal needed to print a
PTI-compliant label. As such, this labeling solution can be used indoors or outdoors in
any harsh environment with minimal operator training and interaction.
SmartPTI™ consists of four applications:
- SmartVision™ fully automated labeling system for harvesters
- SmartButton™ semi-automated push button labeling system for harvesters
- SmartTrailer™ mobile field labeling system for batch printing
- SmartRepack™ batch/individual labeling system for repacking in shed
